A relaxed chat about your health history, your symptoms and what's brought you in
A thorough assessment to make sure acupuncture is the right fit for your condition and goals
A treatment tailored to you, your practitioner selects specific acupuncture points for your body
Fine needles, far thinner than the ones used for injections. Most people feel little to nothing, then relax for 15–30 minutes as the treatment takes effect
Where it's helpful, gentle warming therapy (moxibustion) to ease tension and support recovery
ACC available if claim is already open.

What to expect during your first appointment
Acupuncture is a safe, gentle, evidence-informed therapy that's been used for thousands of years to support your body's natural healing.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture helps regulate the flow of qi, your body's vital energy, through pathways called meridians.
When that flow is disrupted, it can show up as pain, tension or imbalance.
By placing very fine needles at specific points along these meridians, acupuncture works to restore healthy flow and support your body's own ability to rebalance.
At The Chiro Studio, acupuncture often works alongside chiropractic care to reduce pain, ease muscle tension and support recovery.
We may also use other methods, such as cupping, when treating you.
